mother necessity

I think the phrase 'Necessity is the mother of invention' is correct. This is because i believe all inventions are made because we need them. For example Samuel Morse invented the telegrapher this is because he thougt it would be easier if he didn't have to travel to tell someone something this way he could just write something down. So that is why he invented the telegrapher. Also Tomas Edison watched his mother work late into the night in pitch black. That is why he invented the electric bulb so that everyone could see when it was dark. And a final example would be Elias Howe he knew lots of people work for a long time sewing by hand, so he thought he could make it easier by inventing a sewing machine.
